Editorial Review for Hotel Healdsburg – by Stephanie Rosenbaum
The Scene
Complete with spa, restaurant, outdoor pool and lobby bar, this hip hotel has a spare, soothing palate of maize, putty, pale sage accented with high ceilings, polished wood floors, and subtle, geometrically patterned rugs. The loft-style, Sweden-meets-Tuscany look offers a welcome jolt of urban style in a area better known for knicknack-packed Victoriana.
The Details
After a day of wine tasting, sink into a queen- or king-sized bed made up with silky Frette cotton sheets and a puffy down duvet. There's free Italian mineral water in the mini-fridge and an electric French-press coffeemaker stocked with a stash of loose herb tea and Peet's coffee. Other amenities include a writing desk, armchair, small balcony and bedside CD player. The huge bathroom, paved in tiny green tiles, features a deep soaking tub, glass-walled shower, stacks of fat towels--and dimmer switches on the lights, to give just the right romantic bubble-bath glow.

Went here a couple of months ago. Glorious Hotel in a hard to believe its for real town. Hotel is simple and beautiful with loving attention to detail. Free Breakfast is served in the garden or in the lobby surrounded by a hugh fireplace. The Rooms are sumptuous , big beds with Duvets and super big pillows. Writing Desks and deliberate lighting. There was an outdoor garden patio on our floor (5th I think) with Grape Vines and Wood Rocking Chairs . This hotel however, is all about the concierge Teagan. She knows everything about eating, drinking and lounging in this town and the five surrounding it. Its like a having a hip local plan your trip. The staff was very accommodating. You could spend a couple days in the town and not even bother with the vineyards. Superb restaurants, a gourmet grocery, a town square, and interesting and genuine people. Go.
Pros: Concierge

Great amenities, sleek everything, great service. Only problem is Dry Creek Kitchen but I don't want to write another so-so restaurant review
